Davis Theater – Historical Landmark & Community Cinema Hub
This theater is a gem. This building has seen vaudeville and silent films, the advent of “talkies” (or as we call them, movies), revivals, puppet shows, second run films, and blockbusters. It’s a central anchor to the Lincoln Square neighborhood and community. The art of cinema is appreciated here and enjoyed by all who visit, surrounded by classic vintage vibes. I mean, check out the organ pipes on either side of the screen in the above tour! How cool is that? I really enjoyed shooting this Chicago icon.
